2019-S Silver American Eagle PF70 Coin Description:

The Silver American Eagle proof coins were minted at the San Francisco mint from 1986 - 1992. From 1993 - 2000, the minting was moved to the Philadelphia Mint before moving again to West Point where the minting is still done today. In 2017, the U.S. Mint released special edition Silver Eagles from the San Francisco Mint. Both coins became instant hits and prices surged on the secondary market.

The U.S. Mint released a limited run of the Silver American Eagle coins from the San Francisco Mint. They feature the "S" Mintmark on the reverse of the coin.

Similar "S-Mint" Silver Eagle Coins were released in 2012, 2017 and 2018 and became instant hits as investors bought up supply and prices surged on the secondary market.
