Description:

The Official Mammal of the United States, the American Buffalo and the classic, stoic image of a Native American with feathers flowing from his hair are featured on James Earle Fraser's iconic design for the Silver American Buffalo. The ½ oz coin beautifully celebrates the heritage of the United States in ½ Troy oz of .999 pure silver. Privately minted in the United States, the Silver American Buffalo mimics the design first used on the Buffalo Nickel in 1913.

Coin-Features:

  • Contains ½ oz of .999 pure silver
  • Historical design of Native American and the American Buffalo
  • Minted in the United States

The obverse of the coin features the classic image of a Native American man with feathers in the back of his hair. "Liberty," is to the right of the portrait. The reverse of the coin is the archetypal image of a Bison on the plains of North America. Also included are the weight and purity of the coin. Dates are based on availability at time of fulfillment.

Wholesale Coins Direct also offers the Silver American Eagle, Silver Canadian Maple Leaf, and the 5oz America the Beautiful Coin along with many other gold and silver coins to help investors and collectors diversify their portfolios.
