Emerging Group Gold American Eagle Proof 70 Date Run, 2021 - 2025

The Emerging Group includes the most recent Gold American Eagle sets, dated 2021 to the current year, a total of 20 coins and 9.25 ounces of pure gold. Each set includes four coins: 1/10 oz ($5 face value), 1/4 oz ($10), 1/2 oz ($25), and 1 oz ($50). In the middle of 2021, the U.S. Mint changed the reverse design for the first time since its initial release in 1986. The Emerging Group contains those three releases with the new design. 

The new eagle portrait is surrounded by the standard Gold American Eagle reverse inscriptions – "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" to the top, mirrored by the coin’s face value and weight and finesse of its gold contents to the bottom (specific to each of the four individual denominations). A set of three five-point stars appear on both the right and left edges of the coin’s reverse design, separating the inscriptions seen along the top and bottom. Above the bird’s head appear the motto of the Seal of the United States, “E PLURIBUS UNUM” – meaning, “Out of many, one” – and the nation’s motto, “IN GOD WE TRUST,” inscribed on two lines. The designer’s initials appear under the eagle’s neck, while the sculptor’s initials appear just above. 

Since these sets have not been on the market for as long, the acquisition cost is lower and they represent a very good opportunity for investors who want to get in on the ground floor and hold their investment while the value increases.

Every coin is graded by NGC in perfect Proof 70 condition, the highest grade available, and hand signed by Ed Moy, the 38th Director of the U.S. Mint.
