2025 Silver American Eagle Coin Highlights:
The Silver American Eagle coin, first authorized by the Liberty Coin Act of 1985, has been a hallmark of American numismatic excellence since 1986. This coin embodies both national pride and financial security, with each piece struck from .999 pure silver and carrying a face value of $1, guaranteed by the U.S. government.
Produced at the San Francisco, Philadelphia, and West Point Mints, the Silver American Eagle carries a distinguished legacy. While the bullion versions do not feature a mintmark, proof versions include this identifier. The San Francisco Mint initially took the lead in production until 1998, after which the Philadelphia and West Point Mints also began minting these revered coins.
The obverse of the 2025 Silver American Eagle continues to feature the timeless Walking Liberty, a design by Adolph A. Weinman originally used on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. This classic depiction symbolizes freedom and hope, with inscriptions including the year of issue, "LIBERTY," and "IN GOD WE TRUST."
The reverse displays the updated design introduced in 2021: an eagle descending with a branch in its talons and an impressive wingspan, embodying power and grace. The coin's reverse is inscribed with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR," epitomizing American resilience and heritage.
Authenticity and Handling: At the U.S. Gold Bureau, we source Silver American Eagles directly from the Mint, ensuring their authenticity and quality. Coins are delivered in sealed tubes of 20 or boxes of 500. Smaller quantities may be packaged in protective bubble wrap. While minor imperfections can occur due to the minting or shipping process, these do not impact the coin's intrinsic value.
*Our supply comes from the Mint in sealed tubes of 20 and boxes of 500 coins. Quantities ordered that are not multiples of 20 may include loose coins packaged in bubble wrap rather than in the original tubes. Minor imperfections can occur during the minting, shipping, or handling process. The above does not constitute a valid reason for a return.
