Description:

2021 2oz Silver Krugerrand Proof 70 Coin:

  • Contains 2 oz of .999 fine Silver
  • Obverse is a depiction of Paul Kruger
  • Reverse includes the Springbok antelope
  • Mintage: 10,000 worldwide
  • Certified Proof 70 by NGC with exclusive label featuring the South African flag and the beautiful table top mountain.

Even though the gold Krugerrands have been minted since 1967, the silver was first introduced in 2017 as a premium BU coin to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the gold. The Silver Krugerrand is now offered as a Proof coin and has become sought after by many. The design is the same as it was when the gold coin was introduced in 1967. It features the South African Republic's first president, Paul Kruger. On the reverse, a springbok, which is the national animal.
