The First Lady Anna Harrison gold coin is part of the First Spouse series that first hit the market in 2007. These coins have had high and low mintages. Each coins in the series is made of .9999 (24 karat) gold and weighs 1/2 troy ounce.

The 2009 Eliza Johnson First Spouse gold coin was struck at the West Point Mint.

The obverse of the features a portrait of Anna Harrison that was designed by Donna Weaver and engraved by Joseph Menna. She is shown wearing a bonnet. The reverse features an image of the Anna Harrison as she reads to school children. She home schooled her own children and with the help of her husband started two schools in Ohio and Indiana. The reverse image used on the coin was designed by Thomas Cleveland and engraved by Charles Vickers.

This coin is available from our firm in a Mint State 70, graded by NGC.
