Jackson's Liberty gold coin is part of the First Spouse series that first hit the market in 2007. While the majority of our presidents have been married, Andrew Jackson was one of the few presidents who was not married. Since he did not have a spouse, Liberty is depicted on the obverse of this release.
The front of this coin displays a Capped Bust version of Liberty. The reverse shows President Jackson on a horse.
These coins have had high and low mintages. Each coin in the series is made of .9999 (24 karats) gold and weighs 1/2 troy ounce. This coin is available from our firm in a Mint State 70, graded by NGC.
