Description:

These platinum Eagles have an interesting and storied history. First minted in 1997, the concept for platinum bullion is a relatively new idea in America. But what makes these coins stand out is the fact that each year, the reverse design changes. For instance, the 1997 minting will depict a bald eagle soaring over the horizon, where a sun emanates rays just underneath. But the 1998 minting has a bald eagle flying over New England instead. There is a lighthouse in the distance and floating calmly in the sky is a gorgeous full moon. And then of course the 2008 set will have a different reverse as well. This year of minting features a blindfolded Lady Justice. She hold scales aloft in her right hand and a short sword in her left. Behind her is a bald eagle monument, the bird's wings spread wide. This design was meant to specifically pay tribute to the Judicial branch of the American justice system.

The obverse of all your coins should feature the same classic design. It shows the Statue of Lady Liberty staring straight ahead. To her right is the year of issue; above her head floats the word LIBERTY. The obverse may always be the same, but having a different reverse per year of issue makes this kit an exciting find. That, and the fact that this is the 20th anniversary of the American platinum Eagle, makes this a perfect time to capitalize on this deal. It's also worth mentioning that these platinum bullion pieces can also be used in your IRA account. So whether you're using this kit to allocate into an Individual Retirement Account, round out your personal platinum coin collection, or just scratch that numismatist itch for a new anniversary set of coins, this is an offer you want to seriously consider taking part in.
