Minted in 1928, this Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle is a product of the Roaring Twenties, a period of economic prosperity and cultural dynamism in the United States.

The obverse of the coin features a magnificent depiction of Liberty striding forward, holding a torch and an olive branch, with the rays of the sun behind her. The reverse displays a majestic eagle in flight, with the motto "In God We Trust" and the inscription "E Pluribus Unum."

Graded by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) as MS66, this coin achieves a Mint State designation, indicating that it has never been in circulation and retains nearly all of its original mint luster and detail.
