Description:

Sold for two years, the McKinley gold dollars were produced and sold to fund the memorial building (depicted on the coin’s reverse) that was dedicated to the assassinated President. Offered here in the PCGS dual slab with both varieties of this gold classic commemorative. Both coins are pleasing premium gems with bright luster and clean fields and devices. The 1917, the rarer of the two with an original mintage of just 5,000, is plus graded for its premium quality. Both coins have CAC certification.
