Minted in 1836, this Classic Head Quarter Eagle represents a significant period in American history, reflecting the economic and social landscape of the early 19th century. Designed by William Kneass, the obverse of the coin features a classic depiction of Liberty facing left, wearing a headband inscribed with the word "Liberty."
