1799 $10 Draped Bust NGC AU50

With a sharp and well-balanced strike this crisply executed Draped Bust eagle shimmers with semi-proof-like surfaces. All gold draped bust types are scarce in an absolute sense, but this AU example punches above its grade. Some marks are evident, but the sharp detail across the lustrous devices are a bright yellow gold accentuated with a faint blush of rose at the periphery.
