1776 $1 Continental Currency Pewter PCGS XF40

Made prior to the creation of the U.S. Mint, this pre-federal issue has been the subject of much debate in the numismatic community over the last few years. Struck under unknown circumstances, the Continental dollar remains one of the epitomes of late Colonial numismatics. The present example shows some wear but is overall well balanced wear and a spectacular example of this historic piece.
