Description:

Each of these beautiful 2013 Gold Buffalo coins contains 1 oz of pure .9999 fine Gold. This is the eighth year of the Buffalo Gold series, and a very special year it is. The design replicates the Buffalo Nickel by James Earle Fraser which began in 1913. In fact, 1913 was the only year of issue of the 'mound style' nickel reverse which depicts the buffalo standing on a dirt mount - the same design that was carried forward to the Buffalo gold coins. So that makes 2013 the 100th anniversary of this iconic American coin design.

The herd includes:
The 2013 Buffalo MS70, the 2013-W Buffalo PF70 (Lowest Mintage!), and the 2013-W Reverse Proof Buffalo PF70 with the lowest proof buffalo mintage and the only reverse proof buffalo alive, these are rare beasts indeed!

*The NGC label design may vary on the coins you receive depending on availability and current inventory in our vaults.
