Terms and Conditions

Order Terms and Conditions:

Once you have placed an order to buy or sell with Wholesale Coins Direct, LLC (WCD), you have entered into a binding agreement.

When ordering online, the price at which your order is submitted is the locked-in price depending upon the payment method you have chosen. When paying by Credit Card, electronic check (ACH), or PayPal, your price is locked-in at the time you submit your order, and your payment will be processed on the day you place your order or, possibly, the next business day in the event your order was placed on a weekend or holiday. However, if paying by bank wire, your price is NOT locked-in until your bank wire is received at our receiving bank and credited to your WCD account. The confirmation number for your order will be sent to you in an email after you have submitted your order on our website. It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment is received by WCD within 24 to 72 hours to guarantee the allocation of inventory to your order.

When selling to WCD, once we have issued a confirmation number, we require all products to be shipped to us by the end of the following business day and an email confirmation sent to us with the tracking number so we know the product is on the way. You may send the tracking number and shipping information to shipping@wholesalecoinsdirect.com. RISK OF LOSS DURING SHIPMENT TO WCD IS SOLELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. We recommend that you insure your package for the full value of its contents. Once your package has been received and its contents have been verified by WCD, risk of loss for those products which were received by WCD will transfer to WCD. Generally, graded numismatic coins will be purchased from you for the price quoted at the time you initiated your sell order with WCD; however, in the case of bullion coins and bars we only quote the bid spread for each particular product, the price is not locked-in until we receive your package and verify its contents.

Payment Options:

Payments to Wholesale Coins Direct, LLC, must be provided using a major credit card, electronic check (ACH), Pay Pal, or bank wire. Cashier’s checks and money orders are NOT accepted. All payments must be made in United States Dollars (USD).

Credit card or electronic check (ACH) orders for any amounts are processed through security screening. If there are problems verifying the payment details, we may be forced to requestion additionl information to verify your identity and validate your payment type. If requested, failure to provide accurate Social Security Number (SSN) or Driver License information may subject your order to cancellation or require you to pay via bank wire in order to complete the transaction.

•Orders up to $15,000.00 may be paid by credit card, electronic check (ACH), PayPal, or bank wire;

•Orders over $15,000.01 must be paid by bank wire and must be received within 3 business days.

There may be a holding period on credit card, electronic check, and PayPal payment methods. We hold all electronic checks and credit cards for up to 10 banking days; however, in most cases the hold period is less than 10 days. If receiving your order quickly is your goal, we always recommend paying via bank wire. Orders paid via bank wire will ship within 48-72 hours subject to inventory availability.

Our “Good Funds” Policy:

Good Funds is the day your funds are “cleared” in your account. Typically, this is the opening of the trading day following the receipt of your bank wire. And, from 1-10 business days from the day we receive your complete and accurate credit card, electronic check (ACH), or PayPal order information. Although unlikely, additional delays may occur for credit card, electronic check (ACH), or PayPal if your bank does not cooperate in assisting us with the information needed to verify your transaction. For this reason, bank wire is always recommended.

Payment Instructions:

Payment instructions will be issued on the final page of your ordering process, and if paying by bank wire, again by email after you place your order. Payment must be dated within 24 hours of your order date. WCD reserves the right to cancel orders that do not meet these requirements. WCD reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order deemed questionable, of significant risk to WCD, or in potential violation of U.S. Anti-Money Laundering Laws regardless of the payment method and price confirmation.

Cancellation of Orders:

Once we have issued a confirmation number, you agree that you are bound to complete the order you initiated. WCD does not enter into buying and/or selling transactions, accepting the market risks involved, only to have them cancelled. You will be held responsible for buy or sell orders that you confirm with WCD. However, we realize that rare situations can occur where orders need to be cancelled. Should you desire to cancel and/or offset your order, you must do so during normal business hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday (U.S. Central Time). Cancellations are accepted on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of WCD. All accepted cancellations are subject to our market loss policy plus a $50.00 (USD) cancellation fee.

Cancellations may only be approved over the telephone, at which time you will be given a cancellation number. At that time, if any market loss to WCD has occurred, it will be calculated and added to the $50.00 (USD) cancellation fee. If applicable, you may elect to pay any market loss by credit card at that time, or we will invoice you and you will have fifteen (15) days to pay the amount due in full. No future orders may be permitted until any market loss has been paid in full. You agree that any market gain on cancellations shall remain the property of WCD.

Our “Market Loss Policy” (Ask to Ask policy):

When purchasing from WCD, once we have issued a confirmation number, the price is either locked-in for your order or inventory has been allocated to your order. The transaction may not be cancelled, but only offset at our current ask price. WCD’s Market Loss Policy applies to all products offered on our website; however, it is generally more applicable to bullion related metal and diamond products as they are more volatile than numismatic coin and rare diamond products. If WCD has not experienced a loss between the time you confirmed your order and the time of cancellation, you will only be charged the fixed $50.00 cancellation fee. Any deficit between the price at which we sold to you and the offsetting purchase price and/or prices, is your responsibility only if your item(s) is cancelled or returned. That amount will be charged to you, plus a $50.00 cancellation fee. This is our Market Loss Policy. Any market gain on cancellations or returns shall remain the property of WCD.

When selling to WCD, once we have issued a confirmation number, the price is either locked-in for you or your confirmed sale to WCD has been placed in the open market. Your transaction may not be cancelled, but only offset at our current buy price. Any deficit between the price at which we bought from you and the offsetting purchase price and/or prices, is your responsibility if we do not receive your items. The difference will be charged to you, plus a $50.00 (USD) cancellation fee. This is our Market Loss Policy. Any market gain on cancellations shall remain the property of WCD.

Wholesale Coins Direct reserves the right to refuse an order when the confirmed price is incorrect due to computer-related problems, pricing error, incorrect item descriptions or sudden movements in the precious metal or diamond markets. Furthermore, WCD reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order deemed questionable, of significant risk to WCD, or in potential violation of U.S. Anti-Money Laundering Laws regardless of the price confirmation.

Your WCD order may be automatically canceled if we do not receive payment within three (3) business days. Once you have placed an order with Wholesale Coins Direct, whether through our website or over the telephone, you have entered into a binding agreement.

Approved returns should be sent to the address provided to you when given an RMA number. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF RETURN SHIPPING AND INSURANCE FOR PACKAGES YOU SEND TO WCD. WCD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any return that does not comply with these requirements.

We want our customers to be pleased with their purchases. If for any reason you have a problem, please feel free to call our offices and discuss it with us. If an exchange is requested, we reserve the right to find an acceptable replacement or refund your money, subject to the return and cancellations fees described herein, if an acceptable replacement is not available.

Bullion metal and diamond products may not be returned or refunded. Due to the nature of the market all sales are final once the order is placed. Under extraordinary circumstances, WCD may permit a return of certain bullion related items; however, the customer will be required to pay for any market loss on their returns. (Please review our Market Loss Policy). You agree that any market gain on refunds shall remain the property of WCD.

Pricing or Typographical Errors:

The dedicated staff of Wholesale Coins Direct works hard to provide accurate product and pricing information. However, pricing and/or typographical errors may occur.
