2021 Silver American Eagle Type 2 MS69 coin

History of the coin:
First released in 1986 the Silver American Eagle coin quickly gained in popularity and is often considered one of the most beautiful U.S. coins minted. The obverse of the coin features the iconic Walking Liberty design created by Adolph A. Weinman. The very same design used on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar coins minted from 1916 to 1947. The Type 2 version features the brand new reverse design of a bald eagle landing on a branch with the wings spread wide. This updated reverse was designed by Emily Damstra.
